Anthony Thompson wins “averages” for Vics in Wallasey League.
Congratulations to Anthony Thompson for winning the Vics “averages” in the Wallasey League this season. Buzz had to withstand a late charge by Matty Gilmore to claim the title and by going through the season undefeated deserved his overall win. Buzz won 18 out of 18 for an overall plus of 203 shots and an average 0f 2.16. Matty won 18 lost 1 for an overall plus of 201 and an average of 2.04. Robby Franklin just pipped Dave Gilmore to come 3rd with an average of 1.75 to Dave’s 1.74. With every player eligible having a plus average this is the reason that the Vics were so dominant this season and why close games were turned into victories. It is this strength in depth that continues to wear down opposing sides.
