It is with great regret that I have to inform members that Charlie Kennedy has passed away after a prolonged period of illness. I will post funeral arrangements as soon as I get details. Charlie had been unable to get to the green at all last season but had not been forgotten by our members and our condolences go to his family.
The draws for The Victory Cup and Sansom Cup have been made and The Vics have drawn Higher Tranmere in the Preliminary Round of the Victory Cup on Wednesday 27th April. We have drawn Albany in the Preliminary Round of the Sansom Cup on Wednesday 4th May.
We have entered 3 teams in the Wallasey Association five -a - side competition for 2005 and they have been drawn as follows.
Preliminary Round Thursday 14th April: “A” team v Greasby
“C” team v Sacred Heart “B”
1st Round Tuesday 19th April:
“A” team or Greasby v Queens Royal “A” or Burtons”C”
“B” team v Marine Park “B”
“C” team or Sacred Heart “B” v Magazine Hotel “C” or Queens Liscard “A”
2nd round is on Thursday 21st April
Quarter Finals are on Tuesday 26th april
Semi Finals and Final are on Saturday 30th April at 6-00pm.
