The 87th Annual General Meeting of West Kirby Victoria Bowling Club, will be held on Thursday 15th November in the Hilda Shore room of the Methodist Church Hall in Westbourne Road, West Kirby. The meeting will start at 7-30pm. All members have received the minutes of the 2006 meeting along with the notices of motions for this meeting. Wallasey Association 1st Division Champions, West Kirby Victoria, won the Merseyside County, 8 A Side, Club Knockout last month by defeating holders, British Plate, by 42 shots in the final at St.Gregorys in Lydiate. The Vics beat the Brooke Hotel in their semi final before going on to claim 7 of the 8 blocks in a one sided final. West Kirby Victoria will now go on to represent Merseyside in the National Finals at Irlam next April, with £1000 up for grabs for the winning team.
